As far as I am aware, Sheed met and married Masie Ward in London.

How are we to understand the doctrine of divine simplicity in light of the doctrine of the Trinity? If in God essence and existence are identical, and there are no true distinctions in the divine essence, how can there be distinctions between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

With thousands of books and articles written on he Trinity why is John 17:20-23 totally ignored? Jesus Christ in plain language tells us how he and the Father are one.
It is plain and simple but we seem to need a confusing and difficult solution.

Or ignore The Word of God when He stated, "Have you not heard from The Beginning, that God created them male and female, and for THIS reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh..." thus the Love between the husband and wife form a new family, a new communion of Love, open to new life.
