Comments

No Man

I think (believe it or not) the excommunicate person excommunicates her/himself. Prior to an excommunication (when was the last time that happened?), the Church affords the public "sinner" opportunities to repent, confess, do penance, and amend her/his life. The Church's overriding concern therein always is the salvation of souls. (I think.)
