Mrs O

I know in some history I have read in the early U.S., there were times when the Catholic children were released from school during the day for catechism classes. Is there any place in the U.S. that allows this still?

The Church presents us with authentic guidelines for true education reform. Too bad no one will listen.

Mrs O,
I'm "only" 32 years old, and when I was a kid, we got out of (public) school early one day a week to go to the Catholic school for religion class(i believe its called CCD). Right before Confirmation, however, it switched to Sunday nights. I have no idea if they still do this.
