Oh, that's right: the devil is in the details.
You'd think a nun might know of it. But not Sister Simone Campbell, reports Jack Smith of The Catholic Key Blog:
Fear of change, Sister Simone said, is what is holding back members of Congress now. Instead of making a decision many representatives are getting confused by insignificant details, she said.
"Too often in D.C. we can get caught in the details and in the argument," she said.
Smith, of course, is referring to unborn babies. Read his post for more. And marvel a bit, perhaps, at Campbell's remark, which is not just generally silly (or worse), but specifically false: if there are two things (among others) the Obama administration has not been fond of discussing publicly, they are details and arguments for and against budgets, proposals, policies, and reform/"reform." The President, as I recall, has said his administration will "make scientific decisions based on facts, not ideology.” But there I go, getting caught up in details and arguments...
