Hats off to Brown. For any writer, it would be a frightening prospect asked to

publishing history. The temptation to quit while he was ahead and never try

The psychologist Erich Fromm once wrote, "Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties." Understood in the right (or, better, wrong) way, that seems to fit here.
The real puzzle here is the fact that A&D was written BEFORE DVC. So how Denny see this as a follow-up is confusing.
