The identity of the mysterious and very readable "Spengler," who wrote frequently for The Asian Times (300 articles since 1990, has been revealed. Turns out he has taken a position as associate editor of First Things magazine.

I figured this out a while back because the First Things blog actually published something by Spengler and then renamed it by David Goldman, maybe a month or so back. Although, I found that some other people had guessed it correctly and you can sort of see the same style of writing.
