I had not seen this footage before today; it was posted on YouTube in July 2008 and has only had a few hundred views. It is of Fr. Joseph Ratzinger being ordained Archbishop of München und Freising [Munich], Germany, on May 28, 1977:

I did. The old English language edition.
Imagine me, a young lad barely able to follow the languages in use and not even a Catholic at the time.
As the clip indicates, the world was black and white then.
