The Star profiles "a young up-and-coming Malaysian publisher in town and his name is Ezra Mohd Zaid of ZI Publications, a new independent Malaysian publishing house. Ezra is a personable and engaging young man bursting with vigour and wonderful ideas to shake up the local literary landscape. Exactly the kind of publisher we need in a contemporary Malaysia: broadminded, enthusiastic, funny and straight-talking."
He is indeed funny. This, in particular, was humorous in more ways than one:
Get it? The "various incarnations" of a novel that denies the Incarn—oh, never mind. I thought it was hilarious. Meanwhile, Ezra explains that he is currently reading "Slash (HarperCollins, 2007) – the memoir of one of the greatest rock guitarists of our era." Funny, rocking, and cutting-edge. Look out local literary landscape!
Thank you for this info on the Malaysian publisher. May God be with him. Let us hope and pray that his publishing business succeeds. The Ethiopia Reads web site highlights someone who brings good books to young people. Let us hope and pray that he also succeeds!

I'm sorry; Slash is NOT "one of the greatest rock guitarists of our era" or any era. Give me a break!
