Sleeping Beastly

Looks like she has been backed into a corner. Knowing what I do about both of them, I predict that she will cease receiving Communion shortly after the conversation.

We'll see.

SHE WILL CONTINUE TO THUMB HER NOSE AT THE CHURCH AND RECEIVE HOLY COMMUNION JUST LIKE THE KENNEDY'S....THE BISHOP WON'T CONDEMN HER FOR HER ACTIONS

It's not as if many of us have not been overwhelmed by Truth at some point when we were rather obstinately confused...I hope and pray that she is suddenly and wonderfully able to HEAR after her conversation with her bishop. After all, he is the shepherd who was assigned to call her home. No reason to underestimate the power of that relationship. :)God is beyond awesome!!

A reader

It's my understanding there is a protocol a bishop is supposed to follow in taking action in this kind of situation -- see e.g. http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2004/sep/040928a.html. What is going on here at least on the surface appears very different. That is, it's almost as if they are going to sit down as two equals to discuss the matter, instead of the bishop truly exercising his authority in relation to someone ostensibly in his flock.
