Leisure was easier when everyone took the same day off every week and we could socially intimidate our neighbour thus making sure he didn't get an edge on us, and employers couldn't reward his dedication.

Right LJ. FWIW, I never shop on Sunday, but for a less-than-noble reason: the malls and stores are too crowded. I thus save time, and feel a teeney bit holier than thems.
