Medical science can perform many apparent miracles but it still hasn't figured out how to transplant a spine. Too bad for the folks at Random House.

It's not just that book. Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle have written a soon-to-be released sequel to INFERNO, their interesting fantasy about Hell. Their publisher persuaded them to remove certain bits lest there "problems" of the sort Random House worried about.

Wow. So...it's alright that threats of violence are used to silence historical novels about Islam? This is simply waving the white flag. Wow again.
