Terrific book.

I know it's off topic but I've been to La Pierre Qui Vire several times. One of the best Easter Vigils I've ever seen was there. They also make and sell very good cheese!

Another wonderful book by Abbot Vonier is The Life Of The World To Come, words taken from the end of the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed of 381..."et vitam venturi saeculi".

Dom Anscar Vonier provides a beautiful presentation of the language of the Creed in giving joyful expectation of the longing Christian...Expecto "I await", "I look forward to", the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come, audaciously assertive when juxtaposed to the supernatural virtue of Hope...Spero "I hope". Dom Vonier brings to dynamic life the Creed in a manner that gives it the resonance that the 2nd Ecumenical Council of 381 certainly intended. A great book!

I recently re-read his book on the Eucharist and it is amazing how jam packed it is that it can easily do with many re-readings.
