Deacon Harold

I was once in parish that had a rather unusual stained glass window. It depicted a series of skulls adorned with miters. Having never seen a stained glass window like this before, I asked the pastor what the symbolism meant. He smiled and said jokingly, "The road to Hell is paved with the skulls of bishops." Bishop Serratelli's will certainly not be among them.

I'm only speculating here but my guess is that the road to Hell is actually paved with the skulls of Catholic politicians who publicly support abortion, fetal stem cell research and homosexual unions while being personally opposed to them.
