Your response may have been hasty Carl, but it is right on the mark.
Too many of our separated brethren have bought into and propagated the dark myths of the Crusades, because it was convenient to bash the Catholic Church. Now, in this "post-Christian" era in the West, the mythology is taken as manifest truth, and is, of course, a convenient wedge for Muslim apologists as well as the secular humanists, who, as we all know, occupy the highest of moral high ground, such that humility is no longer necessary.
