I'm thinking of creating a little section on the right hand side of this blog for "most popular posts" or "best Insight Scoop posts" or, better yet, "Insight Scoop posts that caused a furor and incited some readers to accuse this blog of being mean-spirited, sarcastic, nasty, heartless, tone deaf, and overly friendly to frank talk and the unadulterated truth."
This shouldn't be too hard, as there are only, as of this post, 7227 posts on Insight Scoop, dating back to sometime in 1982. Or was it 1993? I forget. (Actually, it was July 30, 2004.) Anyhow, I have a list of my own, but I thought it would be fun, not to mention shamelessly self-serving (love the alliteration!), to ask for input from readers. If, for some weird and inexplicable reason, you've not read all of the posts on Insight Scoop (I know, perish the thought), this is a wonderful chance to commit yourself to that wholesome, enlightening, and carb-burning activity. You'll thank me later, if you can find me.
(You probably know this already, but if you want to do searches for key words—"hypostatic union", "priestette", "Oregon Ducks", etc.—make use of the search bar on the upper left hand of the blog.)
You can submit more than one post, of course, but if you are one of those effusive and slightly scary folks who high-five me in the line at the confessional and yell, "Insight Scoop rocks my world and rules the universe!", I ask that keep your list to ten or twelve. (Okay, fifteen, max.) You can leave your choices—with the direct links, please—in the comments section, or you can e-mail them to me. Many thanks!
