Comments

Paolo Pagliaro

Apparently, we still have Cardinals who know the essence of their minister and to Whom it belongs. GOOD.

Scott

The Church has to share some of the blame in why so many Catholics are clueless about the doctrines of the faith. The post Vatican II years were a shipwreck for catechesis.

John

One day this teaching will be changed. Why? Because it doesn't work, but also because the undivided church from way way back before the split allowed divorce and remarriage. And because if you read the church fathers they allowed it too in a number of circumstances. It's not like the Catholic Church really has much to say about divorce anyway. It has lots to say about remarriage, but this is way after the horse is bolted. Jesus talks about the sin at the REAL problem, which is the time of divorce, which is what the church tends to ignore, only getting into a fit at the time of remarriage when the sinful part, the divorce is ancient history.
