The Ethics and Public Policy Center is delighted to announce that Mary Eberstadt
is joining EPPC as a senior fellow. She will continue her influential
writing on issues relating to American society, culture, religion, and
philosophy.
"Mary Eberstadt is a wonderful thinker and writer on a broad range of matters at the heart of EPPC's mission," stated EPPC president Ed Whelan. "She is a great addition to our outstanding corps of scholars."
"The Ethics and Public Policy Center is a natural home for my work and interests," Ms. Eberstadt said. "I've long been an admirer of EPPC and its scholars, and I'm very happy to be coming on board."
Ms. Eberstadt is the author of several influential books: Adam and Eve after the Pill: Paradoxes of the Sexual Revolution (2012); The Loser Letters: A Comic Tale of Life, Death, and Atheism (2010); and Home-Alone America: The Hidden Toll of Day Care, Behavioral Drugs, and other Parent Substitutes (2005). She is also editor of a 2007 anthology, Why I Turned Right: Leading Baby Boom Conservatives Chronicle their Political Journeys. In addition, she has written for many magazines and newspapers, including National Review, Policy Review, The Weekly Standard, Commentary, the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Times, First Things, The Claremont Review of Books, and the American Spectator.
