Thank you for this excellent article!

Still no cross on the altar in the church I go to, but the young priest follows all the liturgical "protocol" (gestures, etc), and says the Roman Canon (almost) every Sunday. I am so infinitely grateful to him for that.

The other (older) priests often appear robotic or sloppy, which vexes me to no end and I avoid going to the mass when they "celebrate" it (Lord have mercy).
