Traveling...again
Yep, I'm alive. I'll soon be boarding a plane in Indianapolis, fly to Chicago, then head on to Portland, and, finally, will fly home to Eugene. My weekend was far busier than I expected and I wasn't able to be on the computer very much. Things should start to get back to normal tomorrow. More soon!

intrigued by "...colloquium on liberty, Burke, Hayek, and Kirk (more on that soon, if possible)..." please do share more!
The Jesuits are renowned for promoting human action, and it has long bothered me that this blog seemed to lack a voice on the praxeological realities of our day - I also follow the Acton blog which links to its Journal on Markets and Morality that features the Salamanca scholastics, and the Mises blog that defends the Austrian's theory of subjective value rooted in interpersonal exchange, as opposed to the labor theory of value of aggregates a la Adam Smith or Karl Marx. BXVi's next encyclical may have lots for us to digest re: the acting person and Grace.
Our current stagnant economic and political outlook draws attention to how slothful American Catholics have become in failing to do good... please do stir it up a bit!
