Thomas

I've never been a "poetry guy," but I baught and read LEPANTO a year or two ago and I've read it and reread it more times than I can count. If you don't have this IP edition yet, get it now! The essays and annotations are excellent, too.

It really is a thrilling poem, and with so much crap passed off as poetry now, it's a refreshing read. Who would have guessed that poetry is aided by easy meter, rhyme and alliteration?
